120 Colour Eyeshadow Palette Review

February 14, 2013

120 eyeshadow pallete

After having a clearout of ancient or rubbish eyeshadow, I realised I didn’t really have a lot left. I’d been thinking about buying a 120 eyeshadow palette for a while but didn’t really know what brands to go for or what kind of price I should expect to pay for a good one.

I began my search on Amazon and came across a 120 eyeshadow palettes sold by Jaloozi, it was £6 so I wasn’t sure what to expect but the reviews seemed largely postitive so I decided to give it a go.

There’s a huge range of colours and multiple shades of the same colour so you really can get the exact colour you’re looking for. There are a matte and metallic shades for all colours. The pigments are brilliant so you don’t need to layer on six inches of eyeshadow to get the bright vibrant colour you’re looking for.

120 eyeshadow palette

I’ve had it three weeks now and used it near enough every day for the past three weeks and I’m constantly surprised by it.  It stays on all day, which is something I’ve not experienced from some of the well known brands such as Rimmel and Maybelline.

Honestly, I would recommend this eyeshadow palette to everyone, I don’t see  the point in paying more when this does the job perfectly well itself.

Do you use an eyeshadow palette? If so, share your recommendations.

daynight book cover

Recently I’ve been doing video book reviews, however since  the lighting in my room is so poor I can only really do it in front of the window with natural light coming in. This means I can only really record reviews at the weekends and my weekends have just been so busy lately, so this is going to be a typed up review.

I saw daynight mentioned on YA Big Bookworm and I really couldn’t say no to a free dystopian book could I?  Follow the jump to find out what I thought of daynight.
