Share the Love - September

Hello October! Which means it must be time to share with you a few things I enjoyed in September.

Music – Little Machines by LIGHTS has been on repeat since it came out last Monday. There is not one bad song on there. My favourites at the moment are Running With The Boys, Same Sea and Muscle Memory, but the whole album is worth a listen.

Films – Last Tuesday Tom and I watched Bad Grandpa, I don’t think either of us have laughed that hard in a long time. The beauty pageant scene had me in stitches and I’ve still got Cherry Pie by Warrant stuck in my head.

Books – September has been another slow reading month but I did read Triptych by Karin Slaughter (you can read my review here,) and loved it. If you like crime novels, I think you’ll love this.

Food – I haven’t been overly-enamored with food this month, I’m just feeling so uninspired at the moment. If you know any delicious vegetarian recipes that you’ve tried recently, please share them with me.

Beauty – This month I’ve really been into my Bare Minerals bronzer that I bought last year. It gives great coverage and seems to be refilling itself because I’ve had it a year and still haven’t hit pan.

Blogs – A few days ago I found Lucy’s Stash, a nail blog and her pictures and swatches are stunning and give me serious nail envy.

  • I’ve heard good things about Bad Grandpa, I think I;m going to have to check it out this weekend. And I totally love Bare Minerals bronzer, such a great product!

  • It’s such a funny film, not for the faint-hearted or easily offended mind you!

  • I’m going to make a butternut squash soup this weekend, which should be seriously tasty. I know how you feel – I’ve eaten really badly this month too!

  • Ooh that sounds really nice, I like butternut squash but I’d never thought of making soup before. I might have to try that.
